Draw Tip Tuesday #1: The first page

Draw Tip Tuesday

At Flow we love to draw. It helps to clear your mind, especially if you’re not too focused on the end result. But sometimes it’s hard to just get started. Which is why we’ve got together with Sketchbook Skool to share a few videos that we hope will inspire you. In the first video of this Draw Tip Tuesday mini series: the first page.

A completely blank page can sometimes be a stumbling block. However, as your sketchbook fills up, you’ll likely soon forget those first few try-outs. Just grab a pencil and get started. If you don’t focus too much on the result, you’ll enjoy the act of drawing itself much more. Besides, everyone draws in their own way: your style will never be exactly the same as someone else’s. And that’s the fun part. But as there will be times when you do find yourself at that threshold, we share a few tips in the video below that can help you fill that first page.
