Draw Tip Tuesday #2: Warming up

Draw Tip Tuesday

At Flow we love to draw. It helps to clear your mind, especially if you’re not too focused on the end result. But sometimes it’s hard to just get started. Which is why we’ve got together with Sketchbook Skool to share a few videos that we hope will inspire you. In the second video of this Draw Tip Tuesday mini series: warming up.

Drawing doesn’t have to be hard, sometimes you just have to do it. In the video below, illustrator Koosje Koene of Sketchbook Skool shows us how you can create something beautiful very easily. For example, you can give your drawing just that little extra by working with different materials. When you use easy, repeated patterns, you completely switch off your mind and you’re not as focused on the end result. And then you’ll be wonderfully absorbed in the exercise.
