B&B Eastend Room in Amsterdam

We have been collecting all the best getaway venues: B&Bs, hotels and other places to stay. All great destinations for a weekend away or a bit longer. This studio, furnished with vintage furniture, is right in the middle of the Docklands, a hip part of Amsterdam.

Special features
Eastend Room is smack in the middle of the hip Docklands on the shore of the IJ of Amsterdam. This is a studio with its own entrance for guests, and a terrace right before your door where you can have breakfast. The studio has been furnished really nicely with lots of vintage furniture. Although the neighborhood is close to the bustling center of Amsterdam, it’s a nice quiet spot. Neighbors sit on the sidewalk in the sun when the weather’s nice, children play on the street and there is no through traffic.

What’s for breakfast?
Breakfast is optional. The room is equipped with a Nespresso machine, water heater, toaster and egg cooker. Coffee and tea are included. You can also request a well-stocked fridge so that you can make your own breakfast. This will include lots of tasty treats like the breakfast cake of De Hartog, a landmark bakery in Amsterdam. Of course you can also do your own shopping in the neighborhood.

Our tip
Eastend Room is located in one of the youngest neighborhoods of Amsterdam, on the Sporenburg island in the Oostelijk Havengebied, and there is an interesting mix of old and new architecture. The neighborhood is surrounded by water and has a very unique atmosphere.

Good food
The favorite restaurant of owner Truus is Hotel de Goudfazant. With the ferry you can get there in ten minutes, a nice little trip over the water and you get to see another part of the city.

Price per night for two people €85, excluding breakfast (minimum stay two nights).
