Postcard from the Past takes you on three simultaneous journeys: one to foreign lands, another back in time, and the third to the inner workings of the British mind.
Compiled by Tom Jackson, the book is a collection of old postcards accompanied with some of the words that were penned on the back. Not only do the images evoke a sense of nostalgia to forgotten times and vacations, but Jackson’s ingenious pick of sentence or phrase provides a beautiful window into other people’s lives.
