Paper Christmas cheer

Christmas is the perfect time for a personal message. And if you’re in need of some inspiration on how to pass on that personal message, we’ve lined up some of our favorite paper goodies for you to use.

Sweet black-and-white
Esther Hörchner, Maaike Burgers and Els ten Klooster, the three illustrators behind web shop Het Paradijs have made a set of six different black-and-white cards.

Say it in chalk
The chalk artworks of Valerie McKeehan often grace the pages of Flow. Her handmade cards can be bought from her shop Lily & Val.

Cute label
Another illustrator we love to work with is Valesca van Waveren. These adorable gift labels can be downloaded from her blog for free.

Make it personal
Amy Heitman will make a detailed hand-drawn illustration of your family (from a photograph) and then color it in digitally. Which makes quite a change from the family photograph of everyone in front of the tree or in the snow. She also sells ready-made cards in her shop.

With a note
The (Christmas) cards of Studio YAY have little corners that you can tuck your own personal message into.

Notes of good cheer
Illustrator Karen Weening sent her new series of Christmas cards to Flow’s editorial team. Thank you; very cute!
