New insta live sessions: We’re in this together

Join Irene on Insta live on Wednesdays, starting April 22, at 4 p.m. CEST / 2 p.m. UTC.

‘It’s important to remember that we all have magic inside us.’ That’s what J.K. Rowling once said. So let’s find some magic inside ourselves in these times.

Starting Wednesday, April 22, Flow’s co-founder Irene will be on Insta live for half an hour every week, talking about different subjects. Just to connect, to cheer you up, to tell you about her life, to tell you how she takes care of her mental health, to update you, and to simply spread some magic!

These are the topics that will be covered in the next few weeks:

April 22: How we are currently making Flow and what are our upcoming projects

April 29: How creativity can help you in difficult times

May 6: Why paper is the new yoga

May 13: The life lessons from Flow Magazine and what they bring us

How it works

Sessions will be broadcast via Instagram Live. Follow us on @flow_magazine and you’ll able to watch them all; you don’t need to register beforehand.

Go to Instagram on your smartphone / tablet; the live session will appear at the top of the screen between all the stories of the accounts you follow.

Or, even easier: go directly to our Instagram account just before 9am in the morning and click on our logo, which will have the word ‘Live’. You do not need to register in advance.

And remember: you won’t be visible; only Irene can be seen and heard. While viewing, you can leave comments and post questions on the spot.

Afterwards, we will share the video on our story, which you can watch up to 24 hours after the live session.

April 22: How we are currently making Flow and what are our upcoming projects

Join Irene on Insta live on Wednesday, April 22 at 4 p.m. CEST / 2 p.m. UTC.

The English-language edition of Flow Magazine is made in our head office in the Netherlands, with an international team. How do we do it? And how are we doing it right now? Since March 13, we’ve all been working from home and we’ve been finding new ways to communicate and create. In this session, Flow’s co-founder Irene shows us everything she is working on and tells us how she’s doing it.

If you have any questions for Irene, leave them here and she will answer them in her live session.

April 29: How creativity can help you in difficult times

Join Irene on Insta live on Wednesday, April 29 at 4 p.m. CEST / 2 p.m. UTC.

Here at Flow we feel that being creative is such an important tool nowadays. It gives us energy, it helps us find solutions to this new way of life and whenever we start to worry, we start doing something with our hands: drawing, crocheting, making a collage or whatever. It’s a great way to step out of our heads. This week, Irene will talk about Flow and creativity. How do you feel about being creative these days? And do you have any questions for her? If so, you can post them on Instagram.

May 6: Why paper is the new yoga

Join Irene on Insta live on Wednesday, May 6 at 4 p.m. CEST / 2 p.m. UTC.

Paper… we love, love, love it. The smell of it. How it feels. That it is so special and so normal at the same time. And that it is such great stuff when it comes to helping you relax. This week, Irene will talk about paper and how we play around with it in Flow, and why she thinks paper is the new yoga. How do you feel about paper? And do you have any questions for Irene? Let us know by replying on Instagram.

May 13: The life lessons from Flow Magazine and what they bring us

Join Irene on Insta live on Wednesday, May 13 at 4 p.m. CEST / 2 p.m. UTC.

Since the very first issue, Flow has been full of great life lessons. We talk to psychologists, writers, neuropsychologists, philosophers, mindfulness trainers and lots more specialists about how we can live our lives. These interviews have taught us so much and the lessons featured in the magazine have truly helped us. Particularly now. How can the Flow lessons about control, self-compassion, acceptance, tiny pleasures, creativity, being in the now and much more help you in this time? Irene, co-founder of Flow, will talk about what she has learned from making Flow over the past 12 years. If you have any questions for her, please post them on our Instagram.

Will you join us?
