Humayrah Bint Altaf shares her passion — and talent — for embroidery through her online store, The Olde Sewing Room. Her hand-embroidered insects and flora are inspired by her regular woodland walks.
‘Many of the treasures you’ll find in The Olde Sewing Room have a special story behind them,’ she writes, which cannot be disputed as Bint Altaf likes to incorporate the goodies she finds on her walks into her embroideries, thus embedding a part of Mother Nature and herself into each piece.
